2014 marks the 21st running of the Second Ascent Ballard Criterium! One of Seattle’s classic bike races with a great city course, lots of fans and a fantastic atmosphere. Just like the original crits in Belgium, the keystone pro event kicks off at 7:30pm with fans spilling out of the local bars and restaurants to watch and cheer.

Masters Category 1-4 Racers: Your second race is half price. If you want to double up and do two races, register for both on line and we'll kick you back $15 when you check in.

Day of race registration will open at 2:30pm and close 15 minutes prior to each category’s start time. Registration will be located behind the start/finish truck.
USA Cycling license required to race. One day licenses are available for Cat 5 men’s and Cat 4 women’s races only. The cost is $10. All other categories must have a USA Cycling annual license ($60) which can be purchased from USA Cycling (not for sale at the race.)
COST
$30 plus WA State sales tax per race for USCF licensed riders.
RACE NUMBERS
WSBA bib numbers will be used and can be purchased from WSBA (not for sale day of race). Rental numbers will be available at the race for a $10 rental fee (of which $5 is a refundable upon return of number). For out-of-state riders there is no fee to rent a number, just a $5 deposit. Numbers will go on your RIGHT side.
NOTES
All USCF rules will be enforced! All riders must sign a waiver and wear an USCF approved helmet! USA Cycling permit - Coming soon.
